Overview
The Islamic Center of New London (ICNL) website is the official digital home for a mosque and its community. DevsUnit designed and developed a complete platform that serves both the congregation and the administrators who run day-to-day operations: a single place for prayer times, events, and announcements.
What We Built
- A complete community website presenting the center, its services, and how to get involved.
- A secure admin panel with full CRUD control over events, announcements, site content, and Friday (Jumu'ah) prayer timings.
- Time-based event and announcement management with automated expiration logic: outdated notices and past events fall off the site automatically, so the content the community sees is always current.
- Prayer-time management so the mosque can keep worshippers accurately informed.
- A clean, respectful, mobile-friendly design that works for every member of the community.
Tech & Architecture
Built as a full-stack Next.js + React application with a Node.js / Express backend and a MongoDB database. The automated expiration system runs on time-based logic so administrators never have to manually remove stale content, and the admin panel is secured so only authorized staff can publish updates.
