Overview

Behind every smooth delivery app is an operations system doing the heavy lifting. Food Express Software is the back-office platform that powers the Food Express business, managing restaurants, riders, orders, and dispatch at scale.

What We Built

• An operations dashboard for managing restaurants, menus, and orders.
• Order routing and dispatch logic to assign deliveries efficiently.
• Rider and staff management with roles and permissions.
• Reporting and monitoring so operators can see what's happening in real time.

Tech & Architecture

A robust PHP / Laravel backend with a PlanetScale (MySQL) database, using RabbitMQ for reliable message queuing between services and Redis for caching and fast lookups. This event-driven backbone keeps orders flowing even under heavy load.
